LockerMate

The LockerMate blueprint

Every LockerMate product started as a sketch of the same object: a steel box about a foot wide that a student gets to open for a few minutes at a time.

  1. The first sketch

A shelf that stretches between the side walls and stays wherever it is pressed. That became the Adjust-A-Shelf, sized for 12 to 15 inch lockers.

  2. The second sketch

Some lockers have walls nobody should trust. So the next shelf got legs, folded flat and stacked: the Stac-A-Shelf.

  3. The third sketch

The inside of the door was empty steel. Mirrors, dry erase boards, cups, vanities and lights followed, all held by magnet.

  4. The fourth sketch

Students carry their supplies out of the locker and into class. Pencil boxes, Flexi storage, pouches and rulers came next, shared with our sister label It's Academic.

If the door opens without an avalanche and the locker empties in one trip in June, we did our job.

We design for the hallway, not for a catalog photo. That means nothing to assemble, nothing to drill, nothing that sticks to school property, and parts that survive a door slammed a few hundred times a semester.
